Fotheringham received degrees of Specialist in Instrumental Vocal Music. He is a thirty second degree mason and is a past member of the Rotary Club and the Lions Club as well as being a member of the Rosicrucian Order. Having served in the Armed Forces for five years, he then traveled almost a decade on ocean liners as a professional musician. He went to Canada in 1929 and began a teaching career in music. He served as Director of Music in various churches and is presently at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Kitchener, Ontario. |
