FINANCE AND BUILDING COMMITTEEThe Finance and Building Committee is appointed by the Parish Priest to manage the financial affairs and capital works projects in the Parish. It meets on the evening of the second Tuesday of each Month. It comprises the Parish priests together with professionals in the fields of accounting, banking, finance, insurance and planning and building. As necessary other specialists are co-opted to assist the Committee. It currently has 8 members, and prepares the Budget for income and expenditure for the year ahead after consultation with the relevant Parish Groups, and reviews actual income and expenditure against budget each month. It also initiates investigations into the need for maintenance and capital works and equipment in the Parish, and arranges quotations and contracts as necessary for such expenditure.
