There are two points to note about this receipt. The first is that although the Burra branch was obviously active in May 1911 when the receipt was issued, it was clearly not when the receipts were originally printed. The Burra stamp is an attempt to rectify this omission. The second point to note is that both the Victoria Square and Gawler Place South addresses for the Motor House are listed. The change over between these two locations occurred in late 1909 - early 1910, which puts the date for printing, not surprisingly given the printed date format, as around the turn of the new decade.
