1920 Peerless specifications

Pretty much the standard Healing kit, but perhaps a little unusual was the Burman gearbox - the Sturmey-Archer CS being more common. In a sad stae, but an interesting companion to my Blue Bird.

Engine: 6hp JAP 50o V-twin, 770 cc
Lubrication: Best and Lloyd drip feed and hand pump, total loss
Ignition: Chain driven magneto
Carburettor: Brown & Barlow or AMAC
Transmission: Burman 3 speed, chain-cum-belt
Frame: Healing fittings. Heavyweight Peerless fork
Wheels: Healing 26x3 beaded edge
Brakes: Single shoe acting on belt rim
Tanks: Combined petrol/oil, Edwards Brothers (EB), Melbourne
Builder: A. G. Healing, Melbourne
Original Finish: Unknown, but probably predominantly black enamel with nickel-plated sundries.
