Peerless odds and ends

In around 1920, when my Peerless was built, A.G. Healing were wholesalers only in their home state of Victoria, but Peerless-badged machines were available in other states. My machine probably passed though the Adelaide outlet.

A nice piece of junk! This c1915 Peerless has now been reunited with an appropriate Precision twin motor. The front fork on this machine - resembling the Druid but using round tubes - is the Peerless fork, built by Healing. The side links are stamped "Peerless".

Fitted to the side-valve Fafnir Peerless shown in the Australian bike gallery, this pulley is stamped "Peerless" together with a provisional patent number. Might be fun to track down the patent one day.
