This bike had passed through a number of owners before I
acquired it in 1992. It had survived largely intact, but with small parts missing. The
tank colours and lining represent the best guess after scraping away layers of later
paint, and the script and layout were copied from a surviving tank from a 3 1/2 model (brown in colour).
