This photo of my daughter Helen Grimmett was taken for a cover photo, but when it did not appear on the cover of The Women's Weekly, Easter edition I was rather disappointed.
The following year I received a call from Jim Parkinson, Manager of the Adelaied office of AWW, asking if it was my daughter on the cover of the Easter issue. I found out that the photo would have been used the previous Easter but for the fact Grace Kelly had announced her engagement and a cover of her at the time was considered more newsworthy.
This was the first of many cover photos I had over the years and certainly the most important. I was a very proud father.
