

We had a concerned customer on our hands when we first dynoed his V2, and got 197rwkw. 'Thats a bit low?' was his statement, condsidering the headers,exhaust,and 10% MAF meter on the car. Dangerously lean fuel mixtures from the MAF installation killed the power. With a full MAFLESS tune though we restored not only the grunt, but also the owners faith in the car. 20% is a whopping power gain, here his comments from ls1.com.au forums -
"Ok, Finally bit the bullet and got a Mafless tune done to the V2 Monaro. It only had 2000k's on the clock and decided to let Donnon unleash the beast! When I got there the car had an aftermarket 10% MAF fitted with a 2.5" Twin X-merge Exhaust system on it. The first dyno prior to any tune showed a poor 197rwkw, the AFR readings were very high due to the modified MAF on a VY PCM (Leaner + Leaner = ALL BAD!!). Martin, jumped on the notebook, and reflashed with some adjustments.. Finally after some more tweaks... and we got 235rwkw from a fresh V2 Monaro....I was happy, but it was even better after I left, and felt the power..SO SWEEETTTT!!!!!! Thanks for the time and patience, and will re-visit after an induction change and when the motor opens up!!!! For everyone else.... ITS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!!!"

"After taking it out yesterday (on my own ) ..... OMG!!!! This is unfknblvable.....for anyone that is tossing up the idea... save your dough (no pun intended ) and JUST DO IT!!!! Now comes time to save my dough for some new tyres... coz I will be needing them!!!"
