23/04/05 LS1 TURBO KITS HITOUT AT THE STRIP!
Both of our Gen-T turbo test cars, Doughys Gen-T1000 One Tonner, and Martins Gen-T had their first track hitouts at the LS1 Drag Nationals. At complete full weight with radial tyres and 60 litres of fuel on board Martins Clubby clocked 12.0 @ 121mph, while 'running in a new engine' Doughy drove off the line to pin a best time of 11.0 @ 130mph. Look for both of these cars taking up to hald a second from these times in the very near future! For more information on the turbo kits, click on the picture
10/01/05 WE TUNE AUSTRALIAS MOST POWERFUL LS1!
Summernats Horsepower Heroes is the place to put it all on the line and fight for the title of Aussies Toughest LS1. Although some big power competition was promised, the 408 cube iron block LS1 matched with a Vortech V7YSi supercharger, tuned by us, was easily the measure of the field cranking out an un-matched 1022hp at the back wheels, making it the most powerful ls1 in the land! Now the engine does duty in the CAPA Drift Ute. Read more about it my clicking the picture!
1/11/04 GEN-T INTERCOOLED TURBO KIT
Two years in the design and engineering stage the Gen-T Intercooled Single Turbocharger kit for the LS1 engine is a true revelation. With tyre frying torque available even at tiny throttle openings the Gen-T system quite literally destroys any other style of forced induction currently available for the Holden product. Full boost is available at less then 2800rpm with the Gen-T system, endowing an otherwise totally standard Holden LS1 torque characteristics that will leave the big cube strokers in the shade. For more information on the Gen-T system click - HERE.
16/09/04 VZ COMPUTER CRACKED!
Over a period of months now we have been working on the coding for the VZ series engine management system. There are some major electronic changes over the VYII with a double size code area and the implementation of a fly by wire throttle control system. So far gains with the new software have been incredible, with our early test cars pumping out over 250rwkw when tuned in Mafless form. We look forward to brining you the complete range, including new LS2 6.0 litre tuning over the next few weeks. Check out our dyno graphs section for more information.
3/06/04 VB CHALLENGE IS GO!
What a blast, getting to tune the PCM in the VB Challenge VY SS Commodore as piloted by Mark Skaife and Todd Kelly! These cars get beaten to within an inch of their lives at every round of the V8 Supercar series by two the best drivers in the country. It was an honour then to get the call from the guys that prepare the car, asking if we could inject some extra kilowatts into the management system to help make a bigger burnout. If it helps Skaifey lay some rubber, and put yet another Ford in the bin, then were more than happy to help. Make sure you check out the LS1EDIT.COM.AU stickers on the car at your local round
24/04/04 TONNER TAKES OUT SUPER STREET AND GOES 11.8! AT THE LS1 DRAG NATIONALS
You couldnt get the grin off our faces after the GenX2 supercharger equipped One Tonner walked away with first place in the 'Super Street' category of the LS1 Drag Nationals held at Heathcote Raceway on the 16th and 17th of April. Consistency on the day saw the Tonner running four back to back passes all within 0.1 of a second, with a new personal best of 11.81 @ 114.5mph being recorded on the Friday. Since we have clearly demonstrated the effectiveness of the GenX2, its now time to get serious with a new 10 second combination built in conjunction with technology partner CAPA
03/04/04 GENX2 KIT GOES 11.93!
We told you that our GenX2 supercharger kit was the best bang for your buck as an LS1 modification, and then we went and proved it by ripping off a shakedown pass of 11.93 @ 115.9mph at Adelaide International Raceway. Set in full conservative tune, and using 5500rpm shift points we will show this kits true potential in a couple of weeks at the LS1 Drag Nationals. Stay tuned!

24/1/04 BOLT ON TONNER RUNS AN EASY 12.70
With only a couple more tweaks to the basic setup, and zero aftermarket engine modifications, our Tonner was able to eclipse all late model competition at the SA Ute Muster. Of particular interest was a match up with a 'Stage II XR6 Turbo' complete with over $8000 worth of aftermarket modifications. What happened? We kicked his butt. Time to get serious now.....
24/12/03 DOUGH BOY T-TRIM BLASTS OVER 650 CRANKSHAFT HORSEPOWER!
Sort of vindicates our decision huh? The fact that after some tuning on the dyno we generated 520 rear wheel horsepower from this stock, boosted, LS1 is incredible. For US visitors, thats around 610rwhp on a Dynojet. All of this was achieved with the stock cats, stock 'block hugger' headers, and only removal of the factory single exhaust system. Doughy - after a brief drive - has instructed, dont give it back till its got 650 - 700 horses at the treads, and can push for 9 second passes. Back to the drawing board....
17/12/03 DOUGH BOY COOKS UP A STORM!
Put down the pastry for a minute, as Dough Boy has just come up with a new bolt on power recipe that is going to rewrite the rule books. Using a Race series V2 T Trim supercharger, and all of the pro series supercharged goods, such as double thickness cooler, air assist, crank drive, 50lb injectors/fuel system, Doughy is aiming for a casual 420 - 440rwkw from his TOTALLY STOCK internal engine, using STOCK headers and Holden exhaust. Why? Why not, its only a Bolt on!
06/12/03 FIRST TIME OUT 12.8 SECOND PASS!
We promised there would be some One Tonner actiona at Adelaide Internation Raceway on December 6th, and we didnt let you down! Running only a very limited modification program that included stock exhaust components, our Mafless Tuned Tonner ran three back to back 12 second passes. Beat that! Give us another two months, and a street driveable, stock internal 11 second pass will be there for the taking
17/11/03 TONNER DEVELOPMENT HITTING NEW HIGHS
The dyno tuning and accleration testing of our first one tonner is coming along nicely. All the nastiness in the stock program described by one learned colleague thus "Allows them to run on kero while pulling a ton uphill" is gone. Look for the car to make its racetrack debut December 6th Adelaide International Raceway. Unfortunately due to contractual obligations we cant release actual power or modification data at this stage. It frustrates us too!
02/11/03 CROSS 8 EDITED. YET ANOTHER FIRST!
While public release isnt for another month, today we spent time tuning the new 4WD Cross 8 Crewman. What we cant show you is the dyno sheet, we are on a promise to keep everything under wraps until the December release date. What we can tell you is that this particular model requires a switched on tuning approach, having a heap of tricks for newcomers. Results? At this stage, over 28kw....at ALL FOUR WHEELS. Stay tuned for more
25/10/03 ONE TONNER PROJECTS ARE GO!
Today we received confirmation that the first of our two One Tonner V8s has been delivered to the dealer. The Silver unit pictured here hasnt had the back fitted, or the SS wheels installed yet...and looks pretty ordinary. The sister car, a black battle bus is scheduled for deliver some time in mid November. Look for a spectacular transformation in both power and style for these workhorses very soon!
20/10/03 ULTIMATE COLD AIR BOX
Cold Air Induction and LS1s go together like a hand and a glove. Unfortunately most of the systems available are substandard, with one well known brand dramatically reducing engine power. Not ours though. A sealed box, with a front mounted air feed, high quality pod filter, and colour coded to the vehicle, ensures that it not only provides low restriction cold air, but also looks great! Check our Power Bits page for pricing information
5/09/03 LS1EDIT.COM.AU FIRST WITH VYII EDIT
Being directly involved in the development phase of VYII Edit has given us the advantage of also being the first to offer the tuning service for your cars. Covering all 2004 model PCMs we can tune all the new 4WD Holdens, Pontiac GTO, and Crewman
