Putting a set of heads and a big camshaft in an LS1 engine requires some careful management work to get the best results. We spent nearly two full days on this particular car measuring and altering every conceivable variable to convert to mafless, gain another 35rwkw, and make it perfectly driveable

When boost is added to an LS1 engine it is extremely important, not only for power, but also reliability to get the tune spot on. We were able to net another 68rwkw and a heap of midrange by getting it exactly right. Impressed? You bet the customer was. NOTE: We are also able to convert supercharged engines to full Mafless tune. Owner comments from ls1.com.au forum -

"Well guy's n girls.....I have been happy with the beast for a couple of weeks now.....But I still pondered why the beast was only making 5psi of boost. It went hard, made reasonable numbers but.....Anyways ST has a chat to CAPA, and Tony agrees to supply me with a 10psi pully for the blower. (Thanx Tony you are a legend). So I install the sucker......Car feels wild down low ......but still only 5psi on me gauge .......on to the dyno again ST insists that the pos is leaking air somewhere. Off with the front bar, all blow off valves are good so he starts poking and pulling all rubber bits attatched to the blower install........low and be hold he has a feel of the big 4" rubber bend that goes into the throttle body, and there it is. A f***ken 2'' split in the pipe......no wonder the pos has been so inconsistant. Anyway, off to the shop in doughys GTS for a new one. get back put the sucker on.....and run it up. Spits out a very stong 336rwkw's. I just go week at the knees. ST shakes his head and chuckles.......after he's finished the beast is spittin out 343RWKW of brutal grunt. Its now got 500nm of torque at the wheels........all i can say is the throttle is now a wheel spin toggle switch. 343rwkws with 8psi runnin through the manifold.......FAAARRRK Boys in girls blown is the way to go.
